Located in the heart of downtown New Haven, surrounded by parking facilities, restaurants, boutiques and Yale University, the Shubert Theater is used by show promoters, corporations, civic and community organizations for events. The Shubert is available for Performances, Concerts, Recitals, Corporate Events/Meetings, Holiday Celebrations, Private Parties, Fundraisers, Pre & Post Show Receptions and more!

The Theater 

Our fully restored 1600 seat Broadway-style theater plays host to concerts, stage performances, dance recitals, film screenings, meetings and seminars - even weddings!

The Main Lobby

Our Main Lobby is the perfect spot for your next holiday party, gala, cocktail reception or fundraising event. Complete with a full bar, the room can be adapted to fit your event needs! The Lobby comforatably hold 100-150 guests.

  

The Mezzanine Lounge

Complete with a full bar & adjacent kitchen, the Mezzanine Lounge is a prime spot for any smaller, more intimate event. Pre-show receptions, wine tastings, and even film screenings! Perfect for groups of 50-100 guests.

 

 

OR Combine Both Spaces!

Combine both the Main Lobby & the Mezzanine Lounge to accommodate up to 400 guests! Perfect for large functions, such as fundraisers or galas.
