Synopsis

Out-of-work actor Daniel Hillard will do anything for his kids. After losing custody in a messy divorce, he creates the kindly alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives. As his new character takes on a life of its own, Mrs. Doubtfire teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father. A hysterical and heartfelt story about holding onto your loved ones against all odds, Mrs. Doubtfire is the musical comedy we need right now – one that proves we’re better together.

The show runs approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes with a 20 minute intermission.

The show is best enjoyed by audiences 8 and older.

PLEASE NOTE: To ensure optimum enjoyment for all patrons, children under the age of three and babes in arms will not be permitted into the theatre for our Broadway shows.

The Shubert Theatre offers FREE workshops for families with children ages 3–10 at:
Stetson Library: February 7 - Saturday 2–3pm
Mitchell Library: February 11 - Wednesday 4–5pm
Activities may include book reading/story time, arts and crafts and/or dance activity. Every child will go home with a goodie bag and a free book from Read To Grow.
Workshops are FREE but registration is requested.
